Welcome! I originally built this site for my own use while frequently traveling between Reno and Sacramento. I often found myself stuck in Donner Pass due to unexpected snow, even when conditions seemed fine elsewhere.

After realizing how helpful this information was, I decided to make it available to others who might be dealing with the same challenge. Unlike many similar sites, this one is completely ad-free and free to use.
